I got new tires. Also I made bed rails.
This is Hank. Hank is Dank.
They’re 285/75r16 Nankang Mudstars
They were cheap, they look awesome, and they perform ok on road, and pretty good off road. I cant go over 65 without being accosted by tire howl, and theres about 5 lb of balancing weight on my LF wheel, but I dont care
Get pumped
I love the ratio of tire to wheel on these too
Previous tires for comparison (245s)
So tiny
Cruiser bruiser
Now on to the next thing to lust after.. I think an electric cut out would do nicely...

Those are some pretty beefy 285/75/16s. They look fatter than my BFGs in the same size...I wonder if maybe it’s because the lettering is outlines and less letters than on the BFGs. Big tires are probably the single best upgrade you can make to a truck in terms of looks.

Tires (or “tarz “as they say in the south,) look good. Are the bedrails the wood slats seen in the last pic?

I was looking at the BFGs... but these were $600 shipped.

Yep, theyre rails, that go along the bed. They fit right in the stake slots, and theyre kind of a tribute to the pickups of the 20-50's that had wood bed sides
Theyre mostly for show, but Ilash stuff to them occasionally

Can’t beat that. I think my BFGs were $900 or $1000, I forget which. I will say for them, they’re obscenely quiet for what they are.
